**Purchase this adapter instead of the AC Adapter from Jameco if you anticipate that your project will require a lot of power - for example, if you will be running five or more servos/motors.

RC/Hobby shops should carry the end you need for $1.50 - solder directly onto an adapter you should have laying around and you have cheap power. Using a 12v 1 amp adapter - works fine for getting configed anyway.

I'm planning to build this w/o the coax jack/zipcord component. I'll post about how it goes, but am pretty certain I can wirenut or solder directly from the wall-wart to the battery connector. That will make the wall-wart single-purpose terk-dedicated but that's fine for me.
