	Null modem with Male DB9 serial connectors
	Serial cable with telephone jack (RJ11)
	Qwerk Serial Connector
	iRobot serial cable

1. Attach the female end of the iRobot Serial Cable to either end of the null modem.
   
   NOTE: Only one end of the null modem will accept securing rods. In the image above, the iRobot Serial Cable is attached to the end of the null modem that accepts the securing rods.


2. Attach the male end of the Qwerk Serial Connector to the other end of the null modem.


3. Plug one end of the phone jack into the end of the Qwerk Serial Connector.


4. This completes the assembly of the Serial Communication Cables. Set the assembled cables aside; you will need them shortly.
