Flower » 10. Felt and Flower Pot

The instructions below assume you have not attached the optional speaker. Disregard instructions 3 – 5 below if you have already attached the yellow felt in Step 5. > The Speaker (optional).

1. Cut a piece of green felt (roughly 4 1/4" x 3 1/2") that will adequately cover the 3” aluminum tube and wires. Cut another piece of green felt for the 6” aluminum tube and wires (roughly 4 1/4" x 5 3/4").


2. Wrap the smaller piece of green felt around the top portion of the stem, leaving the springs uncovered. Then, wrap the other piece around the bottom portion of the stem. Secure both pieces of felt to the stem with several zip ties.


3. Cut a piece of yellow felt (roughly 2” in diameter) that will adequately cover the hexagon.


4. With the hot glue gun, squeeze a thin thread of glue around the edge of the hexagon.


5. Glue the yellow felt to the hexagon as shown in the photo above.


6. Decorate your flower pot and your flower petals as desired.


7. Place the flower inside the flower pot.
