1. Turn the six servos so the servo wires are pointing toward the hexagon. Cut six pieces of double-sided foam tape with the scissors and stick a piece of tape on each servo. If the tape does not stick, wipe the side of the servo with a household cleaner.


2. Remove the tape cover and stick a petal with an IR sensor on the servo whose L-bracket hangs parallel the bend in the stem joint.


3. Alternate between petals with IR sensors and petals without IR sensors and stick the remaining five petals on the servos as shown in the photo above.
