    Inserting screws in the plate
  1. Insert 4-40 x 3/8” screws into the three holes indicated on the bottom plate of the Qwerk enclosure, such that the head of the screw is on the interior side of the enclosure. Take care that the hole marked with an X is not populated with a screw, as it will short the board to the case otherwise.
  2. Attaching a caster
  3. Attach the caster to the bottom plate. Place the caster over all three screws, then put a normal 4-40 washer on each bolt, followed by a lockwasher. Affix the caster with three 4-40 nuts. To tighten the bolts, hold the nut with the crescent wrench, while screwing the bolt in with a Phillips screwdriver. If holding all three screws in place simultaneously is too difficult, you may place and tighten screws one at a time.
  4. Bolting the motor mounts
  5. Using four of the black screws and silver-colored locknuts supplied in the MMT-02 kit, bolt the motor mounts to the Qwerk. Make sure that the orientation of the motor mounts matches the bottom right picture. To tighten the MMT-02 kit-supplied nylon-insert locknuts, it will be necessary to hold the locknut with a crescent wrench while twisting the black screw with the 3/32” Allen wrench.
