Qwerk Audio Player

The Qwerk Audio Player software allows you to play tones and sound files on your Qwerk.
NOTE: Qwerks do not have a built-in speaker, so you'll need to attach one by connecting it to the Qwerk's audio out port. There are links to some suggested speakers below.
To run the Qwerk Audio Player, click on "Launch Software" below. Note that you may get a security warning. Accept the digital signature in order to run the application.

Usage
Once you have launched the Qwerk Audio Player software and booted up your robot, press the "Connect" button and follow the steps to connect to your robot.
Playing Tones
To play a tone, select the "Tone" tab and then enter the frequency (hertz), duration (milliseconds), and
amplitude and then click the "Play" button. For amplitude, start with a value of 10 and then raise
or lower it as necessary. For example, to play an A4 for two seconds, enter 440 for frequency,
2000 for duration, and 10 for amplitude, and then click the "Play" button.
NOTE: the first time you play a tone, there is a slight delay before the tone is actually played. This delay is caused by the activation of the Qwerk's audio system. Subsequent tones are played immediately. To turn off the Qwerk's audio system, send a tone command with an amplitude of zero. Turning off the Qwerk's audio system when not in use reduces battery usage.

Playing Sound Clips
Qwerks can play PCM-encoded WAV sound files. To play a sound file, select the "Clip" tab and then either enter the path to the file or click the "..." button to browse for the file, and then click the "Play" button.
NOTE: If you notice that the beginning of your sound file is clipped and not played, try using your favorite sound editing software to insert 500 milliseconds of silence at the beginning of the file. We hope to have this problem fixed in the next version.
