The Prototyping Playground software is an easy-to-use framework for intermediate to advanced Java programmers interested in getting started with writing Java programs to control Qwerks.

To run the Prototyping Playground, click on "Launch Software" below. Note that you may get a security warning. Accept the digital signature in order to run the application.

To download the Prototyping Playground source code, click on "Download Prototyping Playground Source Code" below and save the zip file to your computer. This provides a quick-and-easy way to get started programming, with no additional installation required (other than Java).

To download all TeRK source code, which includes the Prototyping Playground, click on the "Download Source Code" link below. This package provides all the client source code, but requires some additional installations and takes a little bit more time to set up.

Usage

Download the Prototyping Playground zip file to your computer by clicking on the "Download Source Code" link above. Save it in an empty directory and then unzip it. See the included README.txt file for instructions on how to edit, compile, and run the code.

Ah, sorry, you're quite right. I've logged this in our bug tracker (http://www.terk.ri.cmu.edu:8080/jira/browse/TELEOPCLIENT-130). Thanks for the report.

The readme in the zip file indicates the necessary step of making the shell scripts executable, indicating the use of the chmod command. However, there are no shell scripts in the zip file only windows batch files.
