Serial Dashboard

The Serial Dashboard client enables you to send/receive data to/from the Qwerk's serial ports. It's great for verifying connectivity to serial devices (e.g. GPS receiver, LCD screen, etc.) and for testing how your programs can interact with them.
To run the Serial Dashboard, click on "Launch Software" below. Note that you may get a security warning. Accept the digital signature in order to run the application.

Usage
Your Qwerk needs to be running firmware version 3.1.138 or later in order to use the Serial Dashboard. See the Qwerk help pages for more on determining the firmware version or updating your firmware.
Begin by connecting your serial device to your Qwerk. It's usually best to use the UART2 port since UART1 is used for terminal communication.
Launch the Serial Dashboard software and boot up your Qwerk, then press the "Connect" button and follow the steps to connect to your Qwerk.
Now make sure the proper Qwerk Serial Port is selected in the popup menu in the top-right of the window. Also verify the serial port configuration options under the Qwerk Serial Port Configuration section. If you're not sure what these settings should be, consult the manual for the serial device you connected to your qwerk.
Now click the Open Port button to open the serial port. You can now receive data from the serial device using the various buttons under the Input section. You can send data to the serial device using the buttons under the Output section.
